As a student interested in medical research, I found out about Cochrane while looking for opportunities to learn more about and get involved with professionals in the healthcare field.

It is a great way for students and anyone to get involved with research and learn. I have learned so much and gained hands-on experience in the scientific community.

I stumbled upon evidence-based medicine through popular science books, and began volunteering with Cochrane while waiting to enter medical school. During pockets of free time, I help screen research papers for inclusion in Cochrane databases through the Cochrane Crowd platform, also helping with assignments through Cochrane Engage.

I have gained a stronger sense of what I am learning at university, and look forward to applying these lessons in my future work.

As a Cochrane Member, I am excited to connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about evidence-based practice.
