This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows:

To assess the comparative efficacy, safety and tolerability of pharmacological, physical, or other combinations of interventions in use for the treatment of head lice. 

To establish amongst the used treatments which are the most effective therapies for the treatment of head lice according to their effectiveness and safety, through a network meta‐analysis.
