This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows:

Primary Objective

To evaluate the effects of renin-angiotensin system (RAS) inhibitors in the treatment of adult patients with COVID-19 on total serious adverse events (TSAEs) at any stage of the illness.

Secondary Objectives

To evaluate the effects of RAS inhibitors in the treatment of adult patients with COVID-19 on hospitalization duration and invasive mechanical ventilation duration.
