Clozapine for persistent aggressive behaviour or agitation in people with schizophrenia

To examine whether clozapine is an effective treatment for the management of aggression behaviour in people with schizophrenia (i.e. not for rapid tranquillisation).

Specifically, this review will focus on the efficacy on aggression, self-harm, and serious adverse effects outcomes. Secondary outcomes will focus on other aggression and agitation outcomes, global and mental state outcomes, service use, other adverse effects, reasons to leave the study early, acceptance and satisfaction of treatment, quality of life, and economic outcomes.

This is a protocol.
