Psychosocial and cultural interventions for reducing alcohol consumption during lactation

The primary objective of this review is to determine the effectiveness of psychological, sociological and/or cultural interventions for reducing post-natal consumption of alcohol among lactating women who are providing milk to infants.

The secondary objectives are to describe adverse effects to the lactating mother and to the infant in receipt of her milk when psychological, sociological and/or cultural interventions are used to reduce post-natal alcohol consumption.
