What do we need to know to improve the lives of older people, their families, and their communities? Through an interactive and engaging discussion, this online event highlighted the importance of knowledge sharing across sectors, disciplines, and regions to work together to foster healthy ageing across the globe. The event also launched the United Nations (UN) Decade of Healthy Ageing knowledge exchange Platform: an online, multilingual collaboration space that helps everyone find, share, and produce the knowledge they need to create a world where all people can live long, healthy lives.

Co-Chair of Cochrane’s Governing Board and Director of the Cochrane Campbell Global Ageing Partnership Tracey Howe will presented at the event. Tracey spoke at the event about knowledge sharing to foster healthy ageing, in the context of the launch of the online Platform for the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing. Of the event, Tracey said, “We were honoured to participate in this important event demonstrating how the Cochrane Campbell Global Ageing Partnership’s high-quality evidence contributes to decision making that fosters healthy ageing.”

Tracey's presentation starts at 31:28
