This Cochrane Learning Live webinar introduced EPPI Reviewer, showing its main functionality, using it to manage references and the systematic review process. The presenter also touched on its AI tools.
EPPI-Reviewer, developed by the EPPI-Centre at University College London, is a recommended web-based tool for Cochrane authors to support the development of systematic reviews from study screening through data collection, analysis and synthesis.
The session was open to all, and particularly suited to those familiar with systematic review methodology and conducting such reviews, as well as those interested in using software to manage references and carry out such reviews. The presenter touched on the AI tools recently added to EPPI Reviewer, so the session was also useful for those already familiar with EPPI Reviewer.
The session was delivered in January 2026 and below you will find the video from the webinar, together with the accompanying slides and useful links to further information [PDF].
