Healthy eating interventions delivered in early childhood education and care settings for improving the diet of children aged six years and below

To assess the effectiveness of healthy eating interventions delivered in ECEC settings for improving child dietary intake in children aged six years or under, relative to usual care or no intervention.

Secondary objectives are to assess the impact of ECEC- based healthy eating interventions on physical (child weight), language/cognitive skills, social/emotional (mental health) and quality of life. The review will also report on cost of the intervention and adverse effects of ECEC-based healthy eating interventions, where this exists.

This is a protocol.
