Nottingham Systematic Review Course
9-11 June 2026, Nottingham, UK
The Nottingham Systematic Review Course is aimed at enabling participants to become proficient in developing and undertaking a Cochrane-style systematic review of interventions. As this is an introductory course, no previous knowledge of systematic reviewing is required. Find out more here.

Systematic Reviews of Diagnostic Test Accuracy

The Diagnostic Test Accuracy workshop is aimed at healthcare practitioners, health services researchers, methodologists, scientists and other researchers who wish to conduct or appraise systematic reviews and meta-analyses of DTA studies; or those who use DTA reviews for making clinical and policy decisions about diagnostic tests. 30 Years of the Cochrane Sexual and Reproductive Groups
4 July 2026, London, UK
Cochrane’s Gynaecology and Fertility Group marks 30 years in 2026 and there will be a celebration event in London at the RCOG on 4 July 2026.
The day will be an opportunity to reflect on 30 years of rigorous evidence synthesis in reproductive health, celebrate the achievements of our global CGF community, and introduce the Sexual and Reproductive Health Thematic Group. For more information, click here.

Developing a protocol for a Cochrane systematic review
4-6 August 2026, George Town, Malaysia
This course aims to cover what is needed to complete a Cochrane protocol for an intervention review. It is for individuals that are in the process of or are considering authoring a Cochrane systematic review. It is most suited to authors who already have a registered title, but authors who have not yet identified a title will also benefit from the course and will be given assistance to develop a title. Risk of Bias 2 workshop
2-7 August 2026, George Town, Malaysia
This 1-day workshop will cover each domain in detail with worked examples and a hands-on small group exercise using the ROB2 tool. This workshop is for Cochrane authors and others embarking on systematic reviews, who might like to know more about this new tool. Find out more and register here.

ROBINS-I Webinar Series: Assessing risk of bias in non-randomized studies 
8 & 15 September 2026, online
This two-part webinar series focuses on the application of the ROBINS-I tool for assessing risk of bias in non-randomized studies of interventions. The sessions are intended for researchers, PhD students, systematic review authors, and all those involved in evidence synthesis including non-randomized studies. Each webinar will include structured presentations of ROBINS-I domains, followed by applied examples and practical exercises to support understanding and consistent application in systematic reviews.
