In July 2012, in the midst of the northern hemisphere summer and as the eyes of world were on London for the Olympics, a new Cochrane Review examines the health effects of using an electric fan during a heatwave. This review has been prepared in conjunction with Evidence Aid and one of the authors, Katie Carmichael from the Health Protection Agency in the UK, tells us more.
