Surfactant for newborn infants with congenital diaphragmatic hernia

The objective of this review is to determine whether surfactant administration reduces mortality and morbidity and decreases the need for ECMO and assisted ventilation in newborn infants with congenital diaphragmatic hernia. Subgroup analyses will be conducted to separately evaluate prophylactic and rescue strategies of surfactant administration and to compare these two strategies.

This is a protocol.
