Cochrane has recently made updates to its Conflict of Interest (COI) policies and the way we collect declarations of interest from our authors. This webinar summarised the changes and gave some insight into the reasons Cochrane’s COI policy is one of the strictest in the world.
The session was open to anyone affected by Cochrane’s COI policies: authors, staff and members of the public interested in how conflicts of interest can affect the results of research. It was delivered in August 2025 and below you will find the video from the webinar, together with the accompanying slides to download [PDF].
