I previously (2 yrars ago) served on the board for Vytalize for one year as a consumer advocate. I did not receive any funds, as they were donated to a local charity (Midnight Mission) in Los Angeles.
I have prepared recorded talks for EBIX for many years, doing 2-4 reviews of a particular paper each month or two. The money is paid to a 501 (c) (3) non-profit (GIIssues, Inc) that supports evidence-based medicine efforts. I do receive support from this organization for some professional expenses (meetings, dues, journals, etc.).
