Cochrane Training: Learning live

These videos, originally part of the NMA Learning Live Webinar series, are from a session hosted by the NIHR-funded Complex Review Support Unit team who have developed a free web-based tool that enables users to run NMAs (http://www.nihrcrsu.org/guidance/apps/). The session covered how it can help with review production, how it has been used so far, and gave some live demonstrations of how the app works. It also discussed what the app cannot do and provided brief suggestions of what to do if someone’s analysis does go beyond the remit of the app.

The videos are intended for people who are interested in undertaking a Cochrane Review with a network meta-analysis, or who are actively developing a protocol for a review that intends to conduct this analysis type. In addition to review author teams, CRG editors, methodologists and others involved in review production will be able to learn about the functionality of the app, when it should be used and what guidance is available on its use.

The webinar was delivered in December 2019 and below you will find the videos from the webinar, together with accompanying slides to download [PDF].

Part 2: Demonstration of MetaInsight
Part 3: Limitations and future plans
