Uterine distension media for outpatient hysteroscopy

The objective of this review is to compare the use of gas (carbon dioxide) and liquid (normal saline) for uterine distension during outpatient hysteroscopy, in terms of patients' tolerability and operator's satisfaction with the hysteroscopic view, as well as complications associated with the use of either medium.

This is a protocol.
