Cochrane ENT is looking for an experienced Systematic Reviewer to work with the Cochrane ENT team, based at Cochrane UK in Oxford. The main purpose of the role is to facilitate the completion of high-priority systematic reviews being undertaken as parts of suites of reviews on priority topics, funded by a NIHR Programme Grant. The post-holder will also assist Cochrane ENT with other discrete systematic review tasks for a range of projects, as required.
You will be working closely with the Cochrane ENT editorial team and the main duties of the post will include: co-authoring Cochrane ENT protocols and reviews; developing core outcome measures for use in the systematic reviews; devising template protocols; and assisting as needed with systematic review tasks for other Cochrane ENT review projects (e.g. sifting/screening, risk of bias assessment, data extraction).
You will have a MSc in a relevant area or a higher degree or equivalent experience, plus a first degree in a health-related discipline (or equivalent experience). You will have experience in conducting systematic reviews, including familiarity with Cochrane guidance and standards for the design, conduct and reporting of systematic reviews (e.g. MECIR and GRADE). Completion of at least one Cochrane review is desirable.
This full-time post is available immediately and is fixed-term for 12 months in the first instance. Cochrane ENT would be willing to consider a job-share for this role, therefore applicants who wish to work part-time are welcome to apply. Please note that this role would be suitable for remote working options for those based elsewhere in the UK. Attendance at some face-to-face meetings will be required.
