A2.7.1 Principles of de-registration
The de-registration process is based on the following principles:
- De-registration of a Cochrane entity is a last resort.
- De-registration does not necessarily reflect upon either the ability or the integrity of the members of an entity.
- The decision to de-register an entity requires discussion and agreement by the full Steering Group, based upon a report from the Monitoring and Registration Committee, supported by compelling evidence.
