2.2.1 Guiding principles for disseminating Cochrane Reviews

The guiding principles for disseminating the Cochrane Reviews prepared by The Cochrane Collaboration are:

• To obtain the widest possible distribution and accessibility at a reasonable price.
• To maintain the integrity of the individual Reviews.
• To give credit where credit is due – to authors, editors, funders, and others.

In November 2004, the Cochrane Collaboration Steering Group agreed that The Cochrane Library should continue to be limited to the publication of Cochrane Reviews dealing with human health issues.
