The beneficial effects of insulin for type 1 diabetes are dramatic, and didn’t require proof from randomised trials. However, trials and reviews are needed to compare the effects of different different modalities of insulin delivery. Marie Misso and colleagues in Melbourne, Australia have done such a review.
