The links between diet and heart disease have been explored by many researchers. The latest update of a Cochrane review in July 2011, brings together a large amount of evidence on saturated fats. Robin Darrah of Loughborough University spoke with the lead reviewer, Lee Hooper, from the University of East Anglia in the UK, about the research and its implications.
