Effect of restricted pacifier use in breastfeeding term infants for increasing duration of breastfeeding

The Cochrane Pregnancy and Childbirth Group has produced several reviews of ways to promote and prolong breastfeeding. One of these was updated in July 2012 to explore the effects of the use, or avoidance, of pacifiers for babies who are being breastfed. Jini Hetherington from the Cochrane Operations Unit describes the latest findings.
