Hospital at home versus in-patient hospital care

Many Cochrane reviews look at specific treatments, but some Cochrane reviews look at the actual ways of delivering healthcare. Sasha Shepperd, with colleagues at the University of Oxford in England and elsewhere, including some of the people responsible for the original research who provided the raw data from their trials, has updated such a review. Here she is to tell us about a strategy known as admission avoidance hospital at home.
