Hysterectomy versus hysterectomy plus oophorectomy for premenopausal women

When a pre-menopausal woman has a hysterectomy, it is fairly common for her ovaries to be removed at the same time. This has been investigated by Leonardo Orozco and colleagues from the women`s hospital in San José in Costa Rica.
