Neuraminidase inhibitors for preventing and treating influenza in healthy adults and children

In December 2009, the authors of the Cochrane Review on the use of neuraminidase inhibitors for influenza in healthy adults, highlighted doubts about the quality of the evidence of this class of drug. In January 2012, they have updated the review and combined it with the Cochrane Review of the effects in children. Tom Jefferson from the Cochrane Acute Respiratory Infections Group in Roma Italy and Peter Doshi from Johns Hopkins University in the USA tell us what they found. We hear first from Tom.
