Researchers doing Cochrane Reviews in health care often encounter inconsistencies between different sources of information on a trial or gaps in the data available. Kerry Dwan from the MRC North West Hub for Trial Methodology Research based at the University of Liverpool in England has led a Cochrane Methodology Review looking into this issue.
