Sender: Sarah Hayward [Sarah.Hayward@searchca.net] SEARCH Canada Subject: Program delivery to cease Over the past 18 months, SEARCH Canada has held continuous discussions with stakeholders, partners and funders, and worked aggressively to explore alternative sources of funding, even as we continue to conduct business as planned. These organizations are facing economic challenges and undergoing a high degree of change, and we have received clear indications there will be no positive commitments from any partners within the short time line we face to be operationally viable. Given these facts, the Board of Directors decided June 9th that SEARCH Canada's legacy is best served by ceasing all program delivery on 31 August 2009 and closing all operations on 30 September 2009. Thank you for your ongoing commitment and support. We have been buoyed time and again by the many expressions of encouragement and support received. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX O.
