Participative Research and Policy (few places remaining)

An online course run by the EPPI-Centre, Institute of Education, University of London, UK

This course will enable you to involve policy-makers, practitioners and service users in doing and using research. You will critically engage with the latest theories and debates about the relevance and application of research findings for policy, practice and personal decisions. Participative research and policy is designed for people in public or voluntary sector organisations that are, or aspire to become, research informed. On successful completion of this course you will be able to conduct and use research collaboratively in order to promote change for better health, education or well-being.

Course leader: Professor Sandy Oliver

Type of event On-line / web-based. Over 15 weeks, students work together and with tutors, using course readings and activities, so as to develop their thinking and plans in areas of particular interest to them.
