Two new consumer web sites featuring Cochrane evidence launched

The IN-DEEP project is an Australian-Italian partnership between researchers, multiple sclerosis (MS) societies, and consumers in both countries, to facilitate knowledge translation for consumers. The Australian and Italian teams have each created a web site for people with MS and their family members that presents the evidence about a selection of MS treatments. We use Cochrane Reviews with added explanations and prompts to make the evidence meaningful and personally applicable. Both teams undertook a qualitative exploration of health information-seeking and extensive user testing with the MS community. People who visit the sites are encouraged to leave feedback via an online evaluation survey.
