As part of a series of events to mark The Cochrane Collaboration's 20th Anniversary, a series of videos has been commissioned focusing on the ideas, achievements and people that have contributed to the Collaboration's growth since 1993.
Health Systems Evidence (http://www.mcmasterhealthforum.org/healthsystemsevidence-en) has expanded its role as the most comprehensive free access point for evidence on strengthening and reforming health systems with the addition of the beta version of a new portal that includes World Health Organization documents that address health systems.
The Cochrane Qualitative and Implementation Methods Groups (CGQIMG) is seeking additional co-convenors with experience in qualitative research and/or implementation research in combination with systematic reviewing. The remit for our group is expanding rapidly and we need additional convenors to help in the following areas: review of qualitative and mixed methods protocols; provision of international training in qualitative evidence synthesis; support to review editors and authors; development of methodology for implementation reviews.
Review Manager (RevMan), The Cochrane Collaboration's programme for preparing and maintaining reviews, contains a user guide. Sponsored by the School of Community Health Sciences, University of Nottingham, the Cochrane Schizophrenia Group has produced a series of RevMan tutorials leading new reviewers though the user guide. These can be found by searching YouTube for 'RevMan' (43 clips) or sorted into the logical order within one site (https://sites.google.com/site/revmantutorial1/home).
