New feature in the EWB - Previewing pages
Previously, in EWB version 1.0, users were required to exit the EWB editor form and publish their entire website in order to preview a single page. In September, with the release of version 2.0, users can now preview a single page or the entire site if they choose without exiting the form. Below are the steps to follow.
Previewing, step-by-step guide:
- Edit your site's website source in Archie.
- At the very top of the form:

as well as at the top of each page in the form, you will see a "Preview" button:
- When you click the "Preview" button, you will see a pop-up prompting you to save your changes:

- Click "No, I have to save first" if you need to save, or click "Yes, generate preview" to proceed. You will then see this pop-up (by the way, you can see a link to EWB tips here!):

- After a few moments, you will see a preview of either a single-page, if you chose that option, or the entire site, if you chose the "Preview" button at the top of the form.
*Note: The menu items on the left in the "Preview this page" view are not live links. Please use the "Preview" button at the top of the form to preview the whole site with working menu links.
