Working with the "Link" tool
The EWB has a link tool on each page in the form that allows you to transform text into a hyperlink. Following are the simple steps to using the link tool:
1. Open your website source in Archie and choose an appropriate editable region. Type your text and select as so (Note: Do Not double-click to select the text as this causes an error in the system):

2. Then, click on the link tool (circled in red above) and this dialog box opens:

In this box, you can either choose a file in your Archie "files" folder or you can type in a URL. Let's try linking to a file first. Click the small box next to "File" and another small dialog opens where you can navigate to a file in your "files" folder in Archie. Click on the desired file and click select:

3. Or, you can link to an existing website. Click in the "URL" radio button of the link dialog box and type a URL:

You can type a "Title" if you like, this is an optional field used only in the background HTML coding.
4. You should now see the highlighted text appear blue and underlined, indicating that it is an active hyperlink:

To remove the link from the text, select the text again and delete or backspace over it or use ctrl-x and cut the text and re-paste it somewhere else, it will no longer appear as a link.
