Archie features you might not know about
The EWB works directly with Archie to gather content and produce websites for your entity. You might not realize, that when you publish your site, the EWB is communicating with many servers and transmitting data to/from Archie and our servers here in Freiburg, Germany. All of this "behind the scenes" work requires Archie to be optimally configured to make the system run smoothly.
Here are a couple of features in Archie that make the EWB run:
1. Role settings
In Archie, you must have the "web publisher" role to be able to edit and publish your website's source form. To view your roles and their settings, search for yourself in Archie and open your profile tab, like this:
notice the "Roles" tab. Click on this tab:

Here, you can see the various roles you are assigned in Archie. Notice the "Web Publisher" role. In order to assign someone this role, you need to be a "Super User" in Archie. Ask a "Super User" to give you the web publisher role.
2. Versioning in Archie
Archie allows you to revert to a previously saved version of a document. This is particularly useful for your website source form. Log into Archie and right-click on your website source and select properties:

In the properites box, click on the "History" tab:

You will see all of the versions of the document going backwards by date. If you select a previous version, you can then click on the link "Revert to" and the document will revert to that version. If you make a mistake, simply revert back!
