Interim Executive Director

Nick Royle has stepped down from his position as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Cochrane Collaboration, effective 12 January 2012. Until a replacement is appointed, Paul Farenden (pfarenden@cochrane.org) is acting as Interim Executive Director.

Paul has had an extensive, high-level management career in the National Health Service (of the UK). Following his retirement he has held a number of Interim Chief Executive appointments, including the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust, and the Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust.
