Workshops for Melbourne Colloquium relevant to the Cochrane Screening and
Diagnostic Tests Methods Group
Dear
Constantine and Frank,
I am
writing to you both in your capacity as convenors of the Cochrane Screening and
Diagnostic Tests Methods Group. The workshop program for the upcoming Melbourne
Colloquium is now finalised and we would like to invite you to view selected
abstracts deemed relevant to your group and to indicate whether you would like
to label one or more of these workshops as a 'Cochrane Screening and Diagnostic
Tests Methods Group workshop' in the Colloquium program and on the Colloquium
website.
The
purpose of this labelling process is to flag workshops for delegates indicating
those where they will hear current Cochrane methods policy and ones where they
may hear other views.
If you
opt to be involved, you can review the attached abstracts (selected by me with
assistance from Jon Deeks as being relevant to your group) and indicate which
of these reflect current Cochrane Screening and Diagnostic Tests Methods Group
policy. Please respond to me by email by Friday 29 July indicating which of the
abstracts should be labelled with this statement.
You can
also view the full list of workshop titles at http://www.colloquium.info/?pageID=90&ItemID=277
in case there are any relevant titles for your methods group that we have
missed. Note that this labelling process is voluntary and you can opt not to be
involved. The Colloquium program and website will state which methods groups
opted to be involved in the labelling process.
Please do
not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing
from you at your earliest convenience.
Thanks
and best wishes,
Denise
