Regular elections - final results
The final results of the 2008 elections to the Cochrane Collaboration Steering Group are as follows:

New representatives will join the Steering Group for three years. The election results will be made official at the Freiburg Colloquium, October 5, at 4.30 p.m.

- Representing Centres: Steve McDonald (Australia).

- Representing Cochrane Review Groups ('at large' position): Hans van der Wouden (Netherlands) - re-elected for a second term.

- Representing Cochrane Review Groups (author position): Donna Gillies (Australia) - re-elected for a second term.

- Representing Review Group Co-ordinators: Sonja Henderson (UK).

- Representing Co-ordinating Editors: Roger Soll (USA) (sole nominee).

- Representing Methods Groups: Julian Higgins (UK) (sole nominee).

Congratulations to those who have been elected, commiserations to the other candidates, and thanks to all those people who took the time to vote. Special thanks to Daisy Gregory, who acted as Claire Allen's co-electoral officer and checked counting of the votes.
